Things to do in and around Huelgoat

Whether it be hiking, cycling, fishing, trips to fabulous beaches or simply chilling out and enjoying the local cuisine, this area has it all.

Services available in the town include two supermarkets, banks, a pharmacy, two boulangeries, cafes, bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, hairdressers, a tourist information office and a small cinema.

Towns within easy driving distance include Carhaix, Morlaix and Chateauneuf de Faou. Venturing further afield you can visit the beautiful artists’ town of Pont Aven and the walled city of Concarneau. The closest beaches are around a 40 minute drive to the north but due to the central location, great beaches can also be found to the West and South.

A popular tourist attraction is “Oceanopolis” in Brest which is a huge park dedicated to all things related to the sea. It is worth spending a whole day here to benefit from the many attractions on offer. http://www.oceanopolis.co.uk/

For the more adventurous, visit the Karaex Adreneline Tree Top Adventure Park. http://www.brittanytourism.com/to-see-to-do/other-activities/karaez-adrenaline

Apart from visiting the most popular tourist attractions, one of the great joys of holidaying in Brittany is to simply explore the region and discover quaint villages and to enjoy the unspoilt scenery.
